The 15+ Years Newsletter is out now!
Hi Everyone,
My name is Conor Keane and I am the head of the 15+ years age group for this term. I’m looking forward to an exciting term, and while it’s important that everyone develops their sailing skills, I want to make sure that the experience on Saturday is great fun!
Monthly Newsletters…
Every month we’ll have a newsletter out with all the latest news from the 15+ Years Age Group. While this month’s newsletter is all about our plans, you’ll get to read all about the latest news, competitions, offers and everything else of interest from the West Pier!
What’s planned for the term ahead…
I plan to get everyone onto a huge range of boats and develop as many new skills as possible. We hopefully plan to guide some of the students into our instructor training program later in the term also. This will allow them to be the next generation of dinghy instructors and pass their skills onto others.
I have lots planned for this term including:
- Building up our beginner sailor’s confidence to both helm and crew a both effectively.
- Move into bigger and more powerful boats for all levels.
- Introduce our sailors to the 1720 sportsyachts.
- Complete a Day Trip, prepare for our Annual Regatta and much, much more!
I like to get as much involved with both parents and students alike so I’m happy to address any queries or questions.
