The Kites and Wires course is certainly one of the most exciting on offer. It’s all about getting the most out of your boat and going fast!
The joys of speeding downwind with spinnaker filled, with the boat balanced perfectly on the edge is simply incomparable, and our course instructor Lauren Donaghy is determined to pass on these skills to everyone involved.
Who should do the course...
The course is designed for sailros from our 11-14 and 15-17 years advanced groups. In addition, sailors who have not previously sailed with us, but have completed Irish Sailing's Improving Skills course are eligible to take part.
Here’s the course programme Lauren has designed.
