Jedi’s had a mixed 24 hours, but is climbing the leaderboard again.
After rounding the Fastnet Jedi was dogged by light airs and at one point dropped to 84th overall as she struggled to keep up with the larger boats out in front. Last night fortunes changed, the crew decided to take a route South of the Scillies and this paid off.
Jedi now lies 11th in IRC3 and 66th overall.
They passed regular ISORA competition Mojito and are now on the home straights to Plymouth and is expected to finish sometime around midnight tonight.
This burst of speed puts Jedi back in contention for the - Roger Justice Trophy – Best Sailing School Yacht. Fingers crossed!
