7-10 Years Junior Club Lead Instructor Aisling O'Grady has the term 1 news.

Dear Junior Club Members and Parents,

I cannot believe that such a fantastic term has already come to an end. I have been blown away by the standards of all our young sailors and a huge improvement has been seen in each and every child.

Over the past thirteen weeks, the instructors have seen great advancements in the children, both on and off the water. Every week we have tried to incorporate theory in a fun way into each session as it establishes the foundation of the children’s sailing knowledge which will help any sailor now and in years to come. We have also been concentrating on developing their skills sailing oppies in higher winds, controlling their speed while following the powerboat and individually completing the courses we set every week. This group has an exceptionally lovely dynamic and the superb behaviour witnessed throughout this term is a credit to each individual child.

I would like to thank the parents for their continued support and cooperation and I would especially like to mention how appreciative we are to everyone’s dedication and commitment this term. It is certainly not easy to be out every Saturday in such cold weather but the children’s vibrant personalities and brilliant attitudes have made instructing a pleasure.  Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and we hope to see as many familiar faces back in the New Year

Aisling O’Grady
