After our preview of Team INSS.ie and a bit about all the set up the crew were delighted to finally get racing on day 1 of the 1720 National Championships in Baltimore.

Day 1 Report - Thursday 18th June 2015

Team INSS.ie headed out for day one of the 1720 Nationals in a very light breeze.  Race one saw the team get off to a good start, 4th place around the top mark and by the race ended we had secured 3rd place.  A very light breeze for this race but a stronger breeze in race two saw a change of settings for the team.  Rounding the weather mark in first place the team stuggled with the wrong settings for the race rounding to finish in 4th place.  Final race of the day in a very strong breeze saw a big change in settings and the team marched through the fleet to finish 2nd overall after a poor start.

A great day to start the event in stunning conditions as the photo shows! Team INSS.ie are now lying third overall after day 1.
