Attending our Summer Courses

Important Information for Attending Irish National Sailing School Summer Camps.

Dear Students and Parents,

Many thanks for booking a Sailing Course with us. We hope that you will have an enjoyable time with us and we look forward to welcoming you along this summer. Summer Camps will run 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, except where stated. Our 4-6 Years group runs 9am-12.30pm only.

In advance of your start day, here are some very important points to note:

**NB - Parental Consent Booking Form – NB**

We cannot admit any child onto our courses in the absence of signed parental consent and contact details for parents and guardians.

Please CLICK HERE to access our Parental Consent Booking Form – every child attending our courses must submit a completed form signed by a parent on the first morning at the latest or affected students will not be able to take part in our programmes until forms are received.

Where to Attend on the First Day

Registration begins from 8.15am on the first day of the course and parents and students are asked to attend as early as possible to beat the queue

Registration will be in different areas for different age groups on the first day.

4 to 6 Years –                     Please Drop Students to Main Clubhouse – First Building on the West Pier

(Access on foot via railway bridge – please access by foot if possible)

7 to 10 Years –                  Please Drop Students to Main Clubhouse – First Building on the West Pier

(Access on foot via railway bridge – please access by foot if possible)

11 to 14 Years –                Please drop to our Beach Base at Seapoint Beach. Beat the traffic by accessing the base through Salthill & Monkstown DART Car Park.

(Access to same is off Seapoint Avenue)

15+ Years -                          Please Drop Students to Main Clubhouse – First Building on the West Pier

(Access on foot via railway bridge – please access by foot if possible)

Payment of Balances Due

We would ask that all balances due are paid before the start date of the course to ensure that parents and guardians are not faced with long queues on the first morning. We have limited administration facilities and, as has happened in previous years, wait times for same may be up to 1 hour. Payments can be made by credit / debit card to 01 2844195.

Parking Facilities

We would ask that when dropping and collecting students to us that you park in a safe and careful manner. Dun Laoghaire Harbour Police have specifically asked us to remind parents that parking in the yellow box outside our main Clubhouse is illegal, and also endangers the safety of your child. Last year several parents had their cars clamped whilst parked in the yellow box – the release fee is €80.

We will provide stewards outside our Clubhouse to advise on parking issues and collection and drop off points.

Alternative options to driving down to directly outside our Clubhouse are to park on roadway beside Esso Station (access to our main Clubhouse via railway bridge), or for access to Seapoint Beach Compound by parking in Salthill & Monkstown DART Station Car Park (access to beach base is via railway bridge in car park)

Designated parking is available at rear of our Clubhouse and at our Seapoint Beach compound.
